out in the deep cold

Another weekend gone too fast.

There was good food, football finals, beers with new friends and adventures with old ones.

And there was surfing lessons. One day I hope to be out in the deep with these cool cats.

For now, back to the bench.

Not too much work getting done around the studio today.
Can't stop dreaming of summer and sun, camping and road trips - just generally being outside. This winter has hit me hard.

I'm giving up - I'm taking some cider and a blanket, my love and my dog, and going to sit on the beach to soak up the tiniest bit of fading sun and warmth for the day.

waiting for summer

Nothing better than a weekend full of visits to the beach and beautiful food with wonderful friends.
But I am ready for summer. Long warm days, barefoot adventures and picnics in the sun. Enough of this winter already.

off the bench: gold pendant custom order

Just about finished this gold pendant for a customer. Made using her own gold, she wanted two rings intertwined to represent her two children. Something she could wear everyday without being too "bling".  Just needs a final polish and then I can go outside and play in the sun.
